Nike
Sustainable Upcycling & Re-Use ProductionManufacturing Challenge
Nike required an agile, ethical domestic clothing manufacturer to execute high-concept upcycling and artisanal re-use design initiatives. The project demanded transforming existing deadstock materials and archived apparel into limited-edition streetwear capsules in small, controlled volumes—a process outside standard high-volume assembly line workflows.
TEG Technical Solution & Production Strategy
TEG deployed a specialized garment engineering team at our Downtown Los Angeles facility. Our technical designers engineered custom patterns tailored to non-standard reclaimed fabric geometries. We conducted precise sample development and executed low-minimum cut-and-sew production from deadstock inventory, maintaining strict quality control and zero-waste sustainability standards across all limited releases.
